Excellent article, David. You exhibit the kind of critical thinking skills we all need to example: The skills that we need in order to be able to think critically are varied and include observation, analysis, interpretation, reflection, evaluation, inference, explanation, problem solving, and decision making. Specifically we need to be able to: Think about a topic or issue in an objective and critical way.

Gullibility and naivety are commonplace in the general public and especially with those who are angry and pejorative toward the ‘establishment’ we’ve encountered. I think we’re really hard-pressed to say it is a large conspiracy, but it is obvious that a few are really bent on doing some pretty insane things.

I don’t have a lot of answers, but I do have a course of action that would require a lot of, or maybe just a few well-placed, individuals to create the moment necessary for a great change. That change would include holding those individuals and corporations responsible for enabling the profit over people model to continue — strip them of authority and money and funnel the latter into new systems that manage resources and services that actually help the population, our planet and our growth toward harmony among people and planet.

The latter is a necessary and prudent path we need to not only consider, we need to create methodologies and processes that bring people together collaborative and restore the core value of humanity — LIFE in all its myriad forms. Your attitude is replete with the intellectual processes necessary to address and transcend the mishegoss, allowing the truth to emerge on its own with a little help from our friends (all of us on the same page). A Rose by any other name would smell so sweet? Not so sure..

I’ve written a number of articles on discernment and methodologies for engaging the inner bullshit meter we often fail to consult. A recent book, ZERO to ONE — Making Our Way Toward a Conscious Civilization features them and more. I initially was giving it away to garner potential interviews, then just started giving it away period. Here’s the page.

Thank you again for being a voice / fingers of reason.
