Early on, Brenden says he competed in sports for nerds… doing presentations competitively. When asked about his early inklings toward life, he shares that all he wanted to help his mother retire.

Acquiring what he says was his dream job after graduation and finding success, he started asking the deeper questions about life. He references Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs and self-actualization, which led to the deeper questions about meaning and purpose.

He shares a quote by Scott Harrison, founder of Charity Water, ‘The goal is not to live forever, rather to create something that will.’

As he explored, he found a key component of the process to be, ‘How do we ask tougher questions?’ Questions that we don’t usually ask or get asked. He later found one of the key questions that got people to open up was, ‘’What are you most passionate about right now?’
